FETISHISM

This series of work embraces the boundaries of sexual pleasure through a painterly form, by playing around with different savoury food substances to develop an outcome of mess and stickiness on the nude form. The idea has been created through researching a substance that has been used for sexual gratification even though it does not have sexual connotations. The paintings challenge the juxtaposition of attraction and repulsion because of our psychological desire for sex.
