FETISHISM

This series investigates Food Fetishism, as fruit has been pushed on to the skin; with this imagery the paintings are formed. The paintings highlight wetness of the juices from the fruit symbolizing sexual fluids. How the paint has been applied creates ambiguity of what the body part is obscuring the female form. Also the use of the shiny material and the soft paint strokes develops a feminine theme throughout the paintings.
